Material Handling Equipment Training

We are registered material handling instructors with both RTITB and NPORS

Course Duration

1-5 days depending on whether delegates are experienced worker, refresher or novice.

Course Includes

    The courses syllabus complies with ACoP L117 and the Accrediting Bodies
    Association for workplace transport (ABA).

  • Legislation – Health and Safety at Work act, PUWER, LOLER, ACoP L117
  • Pre use inspections
  • Destabilising factors
  • Safe and efficient operation of the equipment in unrestricted and restricted areas
  • Stacking and de-stacking at low, eye and high levels
  • Load handling
  • Negotiating inclines
  • Battery care
  • Three-part test including – Pre use check, theory and practical

Target Audience

Novice and experienced lift truck operators.
