Face Fit
It is a legal requirement that those wearing respiratory protective equipment ( RPE) are fit tested. Where RPE is used, it must be able to provide adequate protection for the wearer

20 minutes per delegate
Course Includes
- Correct pre use inspection of your respiratory protective equipment (RPE)
- Ensure correct fitment to protect against inhalation of dust and other dangerous
substances - Practical fitting exercises including face fit test
Target Audience
Anyone required to wear RPE must be fit tested.
Pre-Requisite –
• Delegates must be clean shaven
• No eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum one hour prior to the test
• Wearers must be face fit tested for each mask type they will use.
