- Current legislation including the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
- Hand arm vibration syndrome and vibratory emissions
- PPE requirements and standards
- Abrasive wheel types, their construction and markings
- Pre use inspection of wheels, work equipment and the working environment
- Correct storage of wheels and machines
- Selecting and mounting the wheel correctly – fixed and portable wheels
- Practical assessment
- Theory assessment
